Woman Who Has Been Labeled World's Most Jealous Has Demand For Taxpayers

UK woman Debbi Wood is so jealous that she requires her husband Steve Wood to take a lie detector test every day after work to confirm he has been faithful to her.

Debbi suffers from delusional disorder Othello syndrome, and says she regularly checks her partner's phone, email and bank statements. She has even gone so far as to forbid him from looking at pictures of other women in magazines or even on TV.

This means Steve is banned from watching many TV shows and can’t watch most commercials.

Debbi, however, thinks she can get over her insane jealousy if she's given free weight loss surgery.

In an interview on local UK tv, Debbi says she believes a gastric band will improve her confidence.

"When you have got a good man you're not going to let him go," she explained in the interview. "I don't want Steve to have an intimate fantasy about other women."

She continued to say: "I think losing some weight will help boost my confidence, and as a bi-product reduce my levels of jealousy."

"I have a small frame. It's carrying an extra 10 to 11 stone as opposed to what it should do."

"I feel like my bones are crushing on the inside. Mentally it’s going to give me a bit more confidence in myself."
