Woman Shocked By What She Noticed A Teen Doing With An Elderly Woman

A woman ran an errand with her teen nephew, and he did something that made her proud to be his aunt. She snapped photos of the teen's random act of kindness, and cashed in some bragging rights for the kind young man.

Connie Belle Jenkins Sweet says she was in her car in the parking lot at a Dollar General with her 17-year-old nephew, Senquavious Driver. The young man looked up and spotted an elderly woman having trouble getting out of her car. Other people passed the elderly woman without a thought, but Driver jumped out of his aunt's car without saying a word.

"We were about to pull off and leave when she was trying to get out of her car, but she was struggling to get on the sidewalk," Sweet said. "She barely could walk."

Driver walked up to the woman and offered his hand. he helped her out of the car, into the store, helped her shop, then escorted the strange woman right back to the car.

As it turns out, the 81-year-old woman had recently fallen and sustained back injuries. Driver's help was a welcoming sight.

"I was in tears taking pictures because he didn't hesitate to help her, and that made my heart happy," Sweet said to Fox 5. "I'm so proud of him because I know and love the lady that raised him, my sissy."

"I have an awesome nephew," the proud aunt wrote on Facebook. "I pray to God he continues to do great things in his life."
