Woman Notices Cop Acting Strangely - Sees What He's Holding

A Las Vegas police officer is being praised on social media for changing a tire. According to Fox 4 KC, his good deed came about when started to follow Dorothy Ortiz in his police cruiser while she was driving to work and jamming out to some Mariah Carey. He soon pulled her over.

“I just figured, he’s going to give me a ticket for something,” Ortiz said.

He asked her to lower her window, and then proceeded to give her the bad news.

“And that’s when he told me I had a flat tire,” she said. “I just figured the officer was going to keep driving.”

But he didn’t. He busted out the car jack, jacked the car up and switched out her flat tire for a spare tire. That’s when Ortiz snapped a photo of the officer during his act of kindness.

“That’s when I realized, Wow. There really are good people out there.”

She posted the photo on Facebook where it got thousands of likes and shares. At first, the officer didn’t want any of the praise and refused to talk to the press because he didn’t see his gesture as a kind act. He was just doing his job.

“Thank you very much,” she said. “I really appreciate it. Everyone told me I could’ve gotten into a car accident.”
