Utility Worker Out In Woman's Front Yard, She's Left Screaming When She Sees Him Doing This

One utility worker really went above and beyond the call of duty. Actually, it might be more accurate to say he went below - way below. A woman with a bad leak snapped a photo of a utility worker who went head-first into a flooded ditch to solve the problem.

Andrea Adams had a water line break outside her home and called in the Action Municipal Utility District to make repairs. When Adams came out of her house, she found utility employee Jimmie Cox, 23, upside-down and submerged in the muddy water hole up to his waist. Apparently, at the bottom of the 5-foot ditch, a gushing pipe needed to be clamped.

Adams snapped a photo of Cox, showing his legs sticking out as the rest of him wallows around in the water hole.

Within hours, the photo went viral. Adams had to shut down her Facebook and her phone line because she was overwhelmed with messages about the image.

Cox says he's gotten quite a few messages on his Facebook page as well, with people asking him 'what the hell I was doing.'

"In this line of work, people do it a lot," Cox explains.

And you thought you had a hard job.
