Teacher Says The Unthinkable About The Obama Family - Ends Up Suspended

A social studies teacher in West Virginia posted comments on the internet that came back to bite her. The conservative educator has been suspended because she spoke out against Muslims, the Black Lives Matter movement and President Barack Obama.

Mary Durstein has been suspended with pay from her teaching job, but is set to meet with the superintendent. Lawyers will be present at the meeting as well. She might face disciplinary actions, and possibly, termination.

Durstein posted a number of comments and responded to many comments positively online that many, including Superintendent Bill Smith, found offensive. Students figured out the teacher's social media user name, pigpen63, and took screen shots of the comments. They brought it to the attention of the school authorities.

Durstein agreed with tweets by conservative political pundit Ann Coulter when she made comments about deporting Muslims. Durnstein responded "Exactly!" when someone posted a meme complaining about President Obama apologizing to Japan on Memorial Day when he should have been paying respects at the USS Arizona. The meme called him a 'Muslim d--chebag'.

Smith said Durstein's conduct don't reflect the school district's views, where he said all people are welcome.
