Police Reveal Why Woman Killed Her Daughter-In-Law

A Georgia grandmother snapped and killed her son's wife, right in open view of her two grandchildren. The children were not harmed, and the killer has been arrested.

Jenna Wall, 35, was a mother of two, wife and kindergarten teacher. Her mother-in-law shot and killed her inside her Powder Springs home, with her 7- and 8- year old children in the house.

Jenna and her husband (Elizabeth's son) had been separated for over a year. He's an investigator for the district attorney's office. He was called to respond to the scene by police.

Elizabeth Wall, 63, was found in the home when police arrived. Wall was arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, and cruelty to children. She's being held without bail.

"It is disturbing to know they were inside the residence at the time the shooting was going on," said Sergeant Dana Pierce of the Cobb County Police. "We were able to get a good bit of info from them. They are safe, they are sound."

The stunned community has been leaving flowers and other gifts in memory of Jenna in the driveway of the family home.
