Passengers Left In Shock As Woman Falls To Her Knees After Leaving This On Boat

A woman was late boarding the cruise ship, the Norwegian Breakaway. Her husband left the kids on board and went down to the docks to meet her. Before the parents could get on the ship, the Breakaway sailed away.

According to the cruise ship company, after docking in Nassau, Bahamas, the mom disembarked for an excursion and did not return for the scheduled departure. "The onboard team located her husband and children on board but the family was not able to reach her, nor did they know when she would be returning," said a spokesperson for the cruise company. "Due to the circumstances, the ship went beyond normal protocol and waited an additional half an hour for the guest."

The father, who was on the ship, left the two children with relatives and returned down to the docks to look for his wife. He brought her travel papers with him so the two would be able to get home. The cruise company offered the two travel and lodging help, as well as arrangements to help them get to New York to greet the ship when it arrived so they could meet up with their family.

Just as the woman arrived, however, the ship began to set sail. Videos taken by people on the cruise show the woman and husband on the dock, running toward the ship and waving their arms. When the ship neither stops nor returns, the wife falls to her knees and makes a series of gestures in despair, such as raising her hands to the sky, clasping her hands in prayer and letting her head drop into her hands.

Few were sympathetic to the parents. "You are told again and again what time to be back on the boat, generally an hour before the ship leaves port. You can't blame the ship's captain for keeping to a schedule," said a woman on YouTube watching the video. "How they did not stick together as a family boggles my mind. What nitwits."
