OJ Simpson Gets Some Really Bad News

With his imminent release from Lovelock Correctional Facility in Nevada, OJ Simpson, also known as ‘The Juice’, will face a number of challenges in order to readjust to life on the outside. However, Mr. Simpson’s former manager, Mr. Norman Pardo, believes that the 70-year-old football star will end up back behind bars, where there are a number of people hoping to “get even.”

Mr. Pardo has confessed that OJ Simpson will probably end up back in jail just shortly after it was confirmed he would be released on parole. Mr. Pardo has told reporters that a number of OJ’s so called friends are secretly out to get him, stating “I know this because I’ve talked to some of these people - OJ’s so-called best friends - and they have their own agenda. Some of them even told me, ‘We have scores to settle with him when he’s out.”

Mr. Pardo has predicted that any number of these individuals may encourage or incite him to partake in behavior that will violate his parole, landing him straight back in prison: “I don’t think he will stay out [of prison] for very long. It’s going to be very hard for him not to be set up to go back.” Mr. Pardo has also revealed that one of Mr. Simpson’s friends “thinks OJ is the father of his young daughter. His whole marriage and everything was destroyed because of it, but OJ thinks he’s his best friend.”

According to Mr. Pardo, Mr. Simpson owes a number of these men money, and insists that he has warned Simpson of the danger he is facing. Despite this, Mr. Simpson has dismissed these warnings, telling Mr. Pardo, “No, no, no, it’s ok, these guys are cool.” Mr. Pardo has insisted that if OJ wants to remain a free man, he needs to “re-examine his whole life,” and “should spend time with his kids and clean up his friends.”

Mr. Simpson is set to be released on parole later this year, however, until such time, it has been decided that Mr. Simpson will be removed from the general population of the prison and be housed separately with extra security to ensure no one behind bars can cause him any problems. This decision was made by staff at the correctional facility and was not the result of an immediate threat.

During Mr. Simpson’s hearing, he made a point of personally thanking the board for their decision before he rejoined the prison population. Mr. Simpson also confirmed that, upon release, he will be returning to Florida, joking that the state of Nevada would not want him to stick around. Mr. Simpson will return home with a sizable $400,000 to his name, after his NFL pension has accumulated during his time in prison.

OJ Simpson, who was acquitted of murdering his wife, was convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping, and sentenced to 33 years of imprisonment at Lovelock Correctional Facility. Simpson is still waiting for the precise date of his release.
