No One Laughs When Prank Leaves Child With Skin Torn From Legs

A 4-year-old girl had her skin torn off on her buttocks and legs after two other girls put superglue around the rim of a public toilet seat in a McDonald’s. Little Kaya Langmead, was clueless when she went to use the restroom with her 24-year-old mother, Nicole Langmead, while they were eating at McDonald’s on the High Street of Exeter. In an interview, Kaya told reporters that she was using the toilet “like a big girl” when she felt a painful sensation on her legs and behind and found herself stuck to the seat.

After successfully managing to remove herself from the toilet seat, Kaya informed her mother of the incident, who then went to investigate. Ms. Langmead discovered a strong adhesive, believed to be super glue, smeared around the rim of the toilet seat. While Ms. Langmead did not think anything of it at the time, she remembered two young girls who “came out of the bathroom laughing” right before her daughter went in.

Ms. Langmead immediately informed the staff at McDonald’s, who then filed an incident report and called the police. The two girls, believed to be between 16 and 18-years-old, could be seen leaving the bathroom around the time that Kaya was stuck to the seat. Ms. Langmead has revealed that Kaya was physically injured and emotionally distressed after the incident as her skin “was ripped off the back of her legs.” It took five days for all of the glue to come off of Kaya’s legs and behind and Kaya has been in tears since the incident.

Ms. Langmead spoke out against the two teens, stating “To the two young blonde girls… I am still having to console my four-year-old daughter who was unfortunate enough to use the toilet after your little prank…I hope you’re proud of yourselves. Your families must be so proud.” The staff at McDonald’s were extremely accommodating and helpful during the incident, immediately calling the police and comforting Kaya with a balloon.
