NFL Execs Blast Colin Kaepernick

There’s a pretty good chance that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick knew he was opening up a can of worms with his National Anthem protest, but there’s also a fair chance that he had no idea how big that can would be. According to Conservative Tribune, a group of anonymous NFL team executives may have just clued him in with their recent comments.

Kaepernick’s spot on an NFL roster remains secure for the time being, but there remains plenty of speculation that his employment status is not fully secure. There’s a school of thought that says that the 49ers are waiting for the controversy to die down a bit before they cut ties with him altogether. If that comes to fruition, he may not have many suitors waiting for him with open arms.

“I don’t want him anywhere near my team. He’s a traitor,” said one anonymous executive.

“He has no respect for our country. F*** that guy,” shared another.

Judging by the sentiments of these executives, it doesn’t sound like there will many other teams beating down his door to sign him if the 49ers wait for a more opportune time to release him.
