Korrina Malinoski Disappeared In 1987 - A Year Later, Her Daughter Disappeared From The Same Place

Korrina Lynne Sagers Malinoski got into an argument with her husband and went to take a drive to cool off. She was never seen or heard from again after that day in 1987. According to Throwback News, her boss went looking for her and found her car abandoned outside Mount Holly Plantation in South Carolina where she lived.

No one could believe that she would willingly just leave her three children behind, 11-year-old Annette from a previous marriage, and her sons Thomas and James. A year had passed until something completely unbelievable happened. Someone else had disappeared from the very spot that Malinoski was last seen. That person was her daughter Annette.

A bus driver reported seeing Annette waiting for her school bus with her dog at 7 a.m. However, when her bus arrived at 7:20 a.m., she wasn’t there. He stepfather Stephen said he didn’t know she was gone until the afternoon when she didn’t come home from school. He then called the police after finding a note at the bus stop.

“Dad, momma came back,” the note read. “Give the boys a hug.”

Experts said the note was definitely written by Annette. In 2000 an anonymous caller told police to look for Malinoski’s body in the woods, but it was never found. Stephen moved to Florida, remarried and had more kids, while Thomas and James bounced around foster homes until they were adopted. They still hope to find their mother and sister someday.
