If You Are The Type Of Person That Cries A Lot, It Could Say Something About Your Personality

There're certain ways of expressing yourself that lose their luster once you get to be a certain age, and crying is front and center on that list. Those that aren’t afraid to let the waterworks roll are thought to be weak and incapable of dealing with things, but there may be more to the story.

As Wimp shares, mental health professionals actually view it quite differently. In fact, psychologists view crying as a clear sign of mental strength. While that likely goes against some long-held beliefs you may have, it actually makes a ton of sense when you dig into the reasoning behind it.

For starters, the ability to let the tears flow sends a clear signal that you’re not afraid of your emotions. While those that hold it all inside are viewed as the strong ones, the opposite actually applies. It’s much more difficult to come to terms with your emotions than it is to suppress them.
