Florence Henderson’s Autopsy Reveals What Caused Her Death - She’d Been Keeping A Big Secret

The death of Florence Henderson was sudden and unexpected. The spry 82-year-old was very active, even competing only six years ago on the physically demanding reality show, "Dancing with the Stars." Her death certificate revealed that the famous 'Brady Bunch' mom suffered in silence with heart disease for years.

TMZ obtained the death certificate and found that Henderson was suffering from heart problems for at least a decade. In 2011, she was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat.

Henderson hid her health problems from the world, particularly when she was on camera. Her publicist, David Brokaw, said her family and friends were surprised when her health quickly took a turn for the worst. "She was quite active until she started not feeling well several days ago. It was felt that she would just bounce back from it.”

Henderson passed away on Thanksgiving Day, surrounded by her loved ones at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
