Daughter's Rant Spark Violent Riots In Charlotte - She Forgot One Big Detail

After yet another black man was killed by a police officer, all hell has broken loose in North Carolina. The deceased man's daughter is speaking out about her father and claims he had a book, not a gun.

Lyric Scott spoke out about her father, Keith Lamont Scott, who was fatally shot by an undercover officer on Tuesday. According to reports, Officer Brentley Vinson, who is also black, was there to issue a warrant to someone else.

Vinson claims Scott got out of the car and was armed. According to daughter Lyric, her father was reaching for a book. Police say they did not find a book but did find a BB gun.

“My daddy had no [expletive] gun,” said Lyric. “They shot him four times and tasered him.”

Lyric also notes that her father was 'definitely disabled' and claims he was shot because he was black.

Social media has thrown their support behind Lyric and are joining her in a call for justice. Police say the shooting is under investigation.
