Dad Can't Believe What He Heard A Stranger Telling His Son, Makes Unbelievable Confession

Robb Scott, father of two in Canada, went to the video store to get a movie. While he was there, Robb saw a boy pick up the film “Where Hope Grows,” which is about a child with Down syndrome. Like most kids, the boy asked his father what Down syndrome is. Robb’s 5-year-old son Turner has Down syndrome, so he was very interested in what the dad of the boy had to say.

It was obvious the other father was caught off-guard and was searching for words. “It’s an illness of [people] not knowing anything,” the man told his son.

Robb desperately wanted to jump into the conversation and explain things to the father. But he didn’t. Deciding he didn’t want to be confrontational, Robb remained silent. That said, he was upset inside as he did want to perpetuate ignorance in the next generation.

However, when Robb left the video store, he felt a emotional rush of guilt and regret. He was very upset that he had failed to explain to the father and son what Down syndrome really is. In an effort to make things right, Robb went directly back to his car and recorded a touching video on his phone.

Robb explained to the world that while Down syndrome is a disability, it does not mean his son is stupid or does not know anything. He was choked up as he explained how much his son Turner has brought into his life and how much he has learned from Turner.
