This Bear Was Not Going to Let a Family Go Hungry

Bear Taliferro, Jr., from South Florida, was shopping at Wal-Mart on Nov. 4. He stopped by on his way home from two 14-hour shifts to purchase something for dinner. There, he saw a mother unable to buy dinner for her daughter.

He shared his experience on his Facebook page by writing, “As I was checking out a woman started crying in the next checkout line. Her daughter asked her what's wrong and she said we can't afford to eat tonight. A person behind her gave her a couple dollars and she bought her daughter a Kids Cuisine tv dinner.”

In another post, Taliferro wrote about his own difficulties living in his car for a year. He said he felt he had to help. He then told the mother to get what she wants, and he'll pay for it. He wrote, “I'm not posting this for likes, I'm simply saying GOD puts you where he needs you to be WHEN he needs you to be there."

Taliferro's post soon went viral. Within a week, it has received over 725,000 likes and 82,000 shares.
