1887 House Incredibly Restored To Former Glory - You Wont Believe It Was Once 'Uninhabitable'

It is a shame to see some of the beautiful architecture from the 1880s fall into disrepair. So, it’s always amazing to see someone who appreciates it and has the financial means to restore beautiful old houses to their former glory.

That’s what one person did, according to Little Things, when they made over an uninhabitable Queen Anne style home that was built in 1887. When they first came across the house in York, PA the foundation of the house was sagging and made the house look like it was crooked. It was crumbling, filled with dust and grime.

This house went through such an amazing transformation, you’d never guess it was the same house. Now the home has beautiful color, stained glass panels and at least five different types of wood. Each room is full of beautiful details and vibrant color schemes.

The home is licensed to be run as a bed-and-breakfast and who wouldn’t want to enjoy a little getaway in this gorgeous home. However, it can also be used by just one family as a permanent home. This person must have had a really big vision to be able to see the potential in this 19th century home.
