Trump Says Obama Was ‘Terrible’ in Interview

Donald Trump was not impressed with President Obama’s appearance Sunday on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” Newsmax reported.

“I watched his performance last night and I thought it was terrible,” the front-running contender for the Republican presidential nomination said on Fox News. “I thought it was sad because everything’s negative. There’s nothing positive.”

During the interview, Obama dismissed Trump as a “great publicity seeker” and expressed doubt that the billionaire businessman will be elected. Trump conceded that “in all fairness to him,” the Democratic president could not be expected to predict a Republican victory.

Obama’s answers to questions were “a little bit sad,” according to Trump. He noted that the president said “‘what else you got,’ like he’s doing great, and he wasn’t doing great; he was doing poorly.”

The candidate slammed Obama for addressing climate change instead of issues like ISIS, immigration and unemployment, according to Newsmax.

Regarding the alleged military desertion by Bowe Bergdahl, Trump commented: “In the old days, when we were strong and smart and had a country that really was respected all over the world, you would execute a person like that. He’s a traitor. He left, six people were killed looking for him … they were killed, all killed.”
