Donald Trump: 'I Don't Have To Defend President Obama'

On Tuesday, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump sat down for an interview with Stephen Colbert on "The Late Show." Stephen said, "I'm going to throw you up a big, fat meatball for you to hit out of the park right now. "This is the last time you have to address this question if you hit the ball, OK? ... Barack Obama: born in the United States?"

Trump responded "You know, I don't talk about it anymore. I talk about jobs, I talk about our veterans being horribly treated." Trump has been asked about the issue since it was found he did not correct a fan at a town hall who said Obama is "not even an American" and "is a Muslim." During a Sunday interview with "60 Minutes," Trump defended his actions by saying "I don't have to defend President Obama. He's not going to defend me. So whether you agree with the man or don't agree, and there were people in that audience, as you noticed, that did agree with him."

With Colbert, Trump chose to focus on building a wall along the nation's southern border. Trump said, "In that wall we're going to have a beautiful, big, fat door where people can come into the country ... but they have to come in legally."
