Clinton Indicates Trump Has Brought GOP To Dark Side

Hillary Clinton officially accepted the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party last night, and she didn’t let the opportunity to take some shots at her opponent pass by during her acceptance speech. According to The Hill, Clinton went out of the way to paint the picture of Donald Trump as a pretty shady character.

This week’s Democratic National Convention closed out with a truly historic moment, as Clinton is now officially the first female presidential candidate from a major political party. While she took some time to bask in glow of receiving the nod, she couldn’t wait to point out the differences between her and her rival this November, Republican candidate Donald Trump.

"He wants us to fear the future and to fear each other," she said.

She regards herself as the perfect solution to a country that has it’s share of issues, and it’s a challenge she’s ready to face head on.

"Bonds of trust and respect are fraying. We have to decide whether we will all work together so we can all rise together," Clinton said.

In one of her top moments of the evening, she would offer up a play on words of former President Reagan’s famous slogan of ‘morning in America,’ saying that Trump has brought the Republican Party to “midnight in America.”
