Ex-Husband Faces The Music, Enters Plea After Doing Something Despicable (Video)

A California man was found guilty of murdering his wife’s chihuahua during their bitter divorce in a sick attempt at revenge. Michael David Parker, 45, was sentenced to 16 months in state prison for the act that was caught on video.

Parker was found guilty of intentionally killing his wife’s dog by running over it with his car. He and his wife were reportedly going through a rough divorce. Parker was caught on camera running over the dog, named Cow Cow, the New York Daily News reports.

"It wasn't an accident. He purposefully did it," Hawthorne Police Lt. Scott Swain previously told the Daily News.

Parker admitted to hitting the dog, but tried to play it off like an accident. That’s not what police saw when they watched the surveillance video. The video shows the dog walking outside and Parker backing up his car, then racing forward to hit the dog and leaving the animal for dead.
