Dog Up For Adoption, Attempts To Impress Potential Owners In His Photoshoot - Here Are His Adorable Pictures

Since animals are so adorable it’s easy to sway prospective adopters on social media. Though most of the dogs that the San Francisco Animal Care & Control (SFACC) post for adoption get a fair amount of likes and shares on social media, people went crazy over a weird little dog named Carpe Diem.

A silly photo of the pup was posted on Twitter with a caption that read "Adopt Carpe Diem and you will OWN #MyWeirdDog.”

The post quickly went viral. According to Wimp, the Carpe Diem’s, the tweet was shared over 700 times and liked by almost2,000 people. The shelter tried to create a normal photo shoot and make the stray chihuahua look like a nice dog, but he got all weirded out in front of the camera and it was hilarious.

Deb Campbell, a rep for SFACC, said Carpe Diem is "a very silly little dog. He is always happy and upbeat and excited about everything he sees and everyone he meets." It was long before the SFACC found Carpe Diem a forever home.

He's quite a striking dog when he sits still.
