You Won't Believe Why Man Has 17 Freezers And What He Keeps In Them

After devoting the first half of his life to educating the younger generations, Allan Law decided to spend the rest of his life feeding the poor.

His reason, according to Life Aspire, “Someone has to care.”

The Minnesota man only sleeps three to four hours a night and has 17 freezers in his home in order for him to do what he does. This is because Law spends his time making sandwiches and care packages for the homeless.

“There’s a lot of people out there just trying to survive,” he says.

Law stores the food in his freezers and hands the sandwiches out in the streets of Minneapolis in his minivan which says, “Love One Another.” He’s been doing it every single night since he retired in 1999 and is now known as “The Sandwich Man.”

He starts loading, then leaves around 8 p.m. and comes back at noon the next day. He sleeps in his car, and hasn’t slept in a bed in more than a decade.

“He’s been helping generation after generation of people,” said Minneapolis Recreation Development Steve Aase said. “And he’s been a fixture in the community for 45 years. He is a rolling problem solving care center on four wheels.”
