Woman's Hidden Camera Footage Leads Her To Call Police After She Sees What Her Apartment Manager Is Doing (Photos)

An attractive Wall Street financial analyst busted her apartment building’s super by using a hidden smartphone camera to catch him on video sneaking into her apartment and sniffing and stealing her lingerie.

The footage recorded on an iPhone app shows José Cedillo open the door of Ashley Chase’s East 55th Street apartment on Sept. 4 of last year and then turn on the light switch.

At that point, Cedillo disappears from view for a few minutes, then comes back in the picture holding a pair of 26-year-old
Chase’s underwear to his face and sniffing it.

Chase began to suspect something was happening at her fifth-floor studio when she returned from a trip last summer and couldn’t find a favorite purple lace bra.

Over time, she noticed that several of her undergarments were missing, including a couple of bras and at least three pairs of panties.

“I also realized at that point that underwear I had worn that weekend that were in the dirty hamper were missing,” Chase said, describing when she figured it all out.

That’s when Chase borrowed an older iPhone and installed an app that automatically turns on the video camera when it detects motion. She put the phone on an end table pointing toward the front door.

Last September, Chase left for Montauk for the Labor Day weekend and she rode down in the elevator with Cedillo. Barely 10 minutes later, she was texted an alert that the hidden camera had been started recording.

After viewing the recording, Chase called the police, and Cedillo was arrested on charges of burglary as a sexually motivated felony as well as petit larceny.
