Woman Waits For Mother To Walk Away, Slips Boy This Unbelievable Note

Not only was Melissa Simms of Pell City, Alabama recovering from a series of major surgeries that she had over the last two years, she spent her last dollar. According to WBRC.com, Simms felt like nothing was going right that day.

"Me and my husband woke up and split out last ten dollars for gas, for him to go to work and for me to make it to my doctor's appointment," Simms said. "All day I was stressed about how am I going to make supper for my kids."

Her son Trey was home sick from school so she had him in tow for her doctor’s appointment when she realized that she didn’t have enough money for her co-payment. She went ahead and saw the doctor. While her son was listening to music in the waiting room, a woman came up to him and handed him an envelope.

"If I would have known what it was, I would have told her thank you," Trey told WBRC.
Inside the envelope was a $100 bill and a note.

"I've had days like you're having today,” it said. “Hang in there."

It also included a passage from Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Simms then began to cry.

"It is a complete feeling of peace, just like everything is going to be OK," said Simms.

She posted about the ordeal on social media and hopes that one day she can repay her back and pay it forward.
