Woman Stunned By What She Found On Bottom Of Her Fast Food Soda Cup

One woman found something on the bottom of her beverage cup from a fast food restaurant. She then found the same thing on the bottom of her French fry container. The woman was delighted, but some customers were not happy.

Customers at In-N-Out Burger have mixed feelings about the fast food place. It's not about the food, though. Everyone pretty much agrees that the chain of stores spread throughout the west coast and southwest has great food.

The key to the restaurant's success is quality, and the formula is keeping it simple. The menu offers three sandwiches: a hamburger, a cheeseburger, and a double cheeseburger. They also sell fries and soft drinks. There are a few other options on various In-N-Out menus, but by keeping things streamlined in the kitchen they're able to churn out delicious food very quickly.

Another key to the company's success is the employee-centered policies. They pay above minimum wage and try to keep employees happy. This has made for great service, which in turn has resulted in a loyal base of customers.

But a new discovery on In-N-Out packaging has created a stir. One customer went into the restaurant and happened to glance under his cup. He found something that he decided was highly offensive: A Bible verse. Specifically, it reads, "John 3:16."

The owners of In-N-Out are Christian, and the liberal customer went to 'oust' them on social media by complaining about the verse that was printed in tiny letters on the inside rim of the cup. "I am shocked that a beloved California institution would be owned & operated in such a fashion," wrote one person on a cit-data.com forum. "Boycott In-N-Out Burger!"

Many people laughed it off, however, saying that for decades, In-N-Out has printed bible verses on their packaging. Hamburgers and cheeseburger wrappers refer to Revelation 3:20. Fries refer to Proverbs 24:16.

While some customers think it’s no big deal, others have been outraged at having ‘religion shoved down their throats’

The news may have backfired, though. Some people were delighted to hear about Bible verses printed on the packaging. “IN-N-OUT Burger puts verses on their cups and "burger bags."
Pretty awesome,” wrote one Christian on Twitter.

The boycott calls came shortly after a huge controversy over another major fast food franchise with a Christian owner: Chick-Fil-A. When news of the owner being Christian and supporting Christian organizations that are against same-sex marriage came out, angry liberals cried for boycotting of the chicken place.

Oddly, the plan backfired. Most people did not care what the owner of a fast food franchise did with his personal money, as long as it was legal. Even if they didn’t agree with the organizations the Chick-Fil-A founder supported, they felt he had the right to put his money towards the causes he believes in. On top of that, a whole new slew of customers began going to Chick-Fil-A to show support, and business was booming.
