Woman Raped By Man - Didn’t Realize He Was Hiding This Secret

According to the World Health Organization, 35% of women in the world have experienced violence in a physical or sexual way. It is a harrowing, horrific experience for anyone to go through a difficult ordeal. One woman in Zwickau, Germany went through such an ordeal when a Pakistani refugee attacked her. The man was a career criminal who had numerous previous convictions. It was only months ago when he was arrested for firing blanks in a busy city square.

19-year-old Sarah was working at a gaming arcade in Zwickau to earn money for her school. On July 14th, Qaiser S. entered the arcade where she worked. The arcade was completely empty. Qaisar pushed her into the more private smoking room where he started to assault her. He pulled her hair and pushed her against a machine, making her sit on it. He became more aggressive and hit her in the face, then even going so far as to bite her while he was raping her.

The man was caught due to CCTV footage and because every police officer already knew who he was. He was arrested and it was revealed he had hepatitis C. He wanted to infect her, which is why he kept violently biting her. He has confessed to everything. He received four years in jail but will not be accepted by his country of origin, Pakistan. Many argue four years is not enough for such a criminal as Sarah's life has changed forever and so should his.

Although Sarah did not become infected, she has emotional scars that will last a lifetime. She has not started school yet. The consequences of such an act can affect a person mentally but also manifest in other ways. Survivors often feel more anxiety, stress, feelings of hopelessness and lack of self worth. They often attend therapy to cope with their feelings. Therapy can be a source of comfort to help them move past the horrendous event.
