Woman Posts Video of Daughter Getting Head Slammed by Bully

Mellisa Gallant has recently posted a video of her 15-year-old daughter, Josie, getting her head slammed into a locker by another student. The student claiming responsibility said Josie had directed racist slurs at her. Both Josie and Mellisa say they are not racist.

The incident was filmed at Bonar Law Memorial High School in Rexton, Canada. Josie had to tearfully go home the next day, after her mom had a meeting with the principal.

Mellisa was brought to tears when she saw the video of her daughter. She told CBC News, "I was upset and very angry and I cried for about an hour. It made me realize just what my daughter endures to go to that school."

She went on to say that the school has not done enough to protect her daughter. In addition, they requested she take down the video, but she refused. She told CBC, "Anything I've done up to this point has accomplished nothing, and I'm looking for results."

Josie said "They made the video to target me, to say 'hahaha, you don't know how to stick up for yourself,' because they always say that I'm, like, a wus, and I don't stick up for myself and stuff like that, and I don't want to because then I get suspended, and I don't want to get suspended."

The Royal Canadian Mountain Police now have a copy of the video for their investigation.
