Woman Notices Something Odd After Taking A Second Glance Of Photo Snapped In Store

Chase Lock is 8-year-old and has already had cancer twice. Chase was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer at age 2. He was declared cancer-free after months of chemo, surgery and other therapy, but found out he had another tumor about two years after that.

What he is most concerned about is, making it to the second grade as he explained to an Apple Store manager in at La Encantada in Tucson, Arizona, according to Wimp.

“Oh I am working on my homework,” Chase told manager Jason Greer. “I am in first grade and I should be in second grade, but I was in the hospital for a year because I have brain cancer and I really want to make sure I make it to second grade next year.'”

Greer was taken aback and asked to speak with Chase’s mom. When Greer approached her, she thought she was about to notified of something her kids broke or something they touched in the store that they weren’t supposed to— however, he was in tears.

“Jason said that it is stories like Chase's that make him love his job because they love to make a difference,” she wrote on social media, Wimp reports. “He asked if he could give Chase something, I was still in shock and said of course.”

She expressed her gratitude for the kindness that was shown to her son.

“What they did not know is that Chase is OBSESSED with time, it is one of the ways he copes with the anxiety issues he has from his 'hospital life,’” Chase’s mom wrote. “It is his way of knowing what will come next. In addition, he loves music (Queen is his current favorite).”

She said the gesture absolutely made her son’s day.
