Woman Notices Five Kids Standing Still On A Playground - Realizes What They’re Doing

As some parents respect their kids right to 'take a knee' or 'opt out' of the national anthem, others are proud that their children seem to understand the gravity of saluting the flag. A woman in North Carolina on a Marine Corps station caught a video of what these kids did.

The young children were playing in the playground and Danielle was filming them. Suddenly the station loudspeaker came on as colors sounded.

On cue, without any adults requesting it, all five children stopped what they were doing and jumped off the playground equipment. They stood, facing the direction of the flag, as the morning bugle blared.

As soon as it was over, the kids began running, jumping and spinning again, as if someone pushed a button to unfreeze them. Danielle was touched by the amount of respect these 'military brats' had for a cherished tradition that is meant to honor something that symbolizes so much.
