Woman Leaves Locals Speechless 4 Years After Her Son's Death When She's Spotted Carrying This

One little Florida boy would have started kindergarten this year, but his life was sadly cut short when he was just 18 months old. He drowned in a neighbor's pond, and his mother has struggled with the loss over the last three years. She wanted to do something so people would remember her son.

Courtney Scott knew it was around the time her son, Carsyn, would have started school. It's a milestone many parents treasure, buying outfits and taking photos to commemorate the occasion. Since Carsyn couldn't experience it, his mother decided to honor his memory with a donation to his would-be school instead.

Scott took to Facebook to ask friends about some school supply donations, and the response was overwhelming. “I expected my friends and family may donate some, but everyone began sharing my event and soon donations were pouring in from all over,” said Scott on CBS News.

The proud mama walked into the school that day and handed over the gifts. “I didn’t get to walk into kindergarten with Carsyn, but I was able to walk in with his memory and that was special,” she said.

“I want the world to know about my son forever,” Scott said. “My biggest worry is that he would be forgotten by friends and family.”

The school, as well as students and parents attending there, said they wouldn't let that happen.
