Woman Joins The Choir, Starts Singing - You Have To Hear This (Video)

When you hear those words, your chest swells with pride and your heart is full. “God Bless America” is a familiar and comforting anthem, which was written by Irving Berlin as a patriotic song in 1918 and was later revised by 1938.

Jackie Evancho sings the song exceptionally. According to AWM.com, Evancho is wildly talented and got to display her talents during the 2016 celebration of the Fourth of July. Evancho thrilled the crowd and gave them chills.

She sang with an entire orchestra and chorus behind which made the anthem all the more powerful. At one point during the performance, she decided to switch it up and have the entire chorus follow her while she sings the same words over giving the music depth. Then she invited the audience to join in.

Throughout the years the song was used in civil rights campaigns and is most famously sung by Kate Smith. It was used by Roosevelt as his official campaigns son in the 40s and on Sept. 11 after the terrorist attacks.
