Woman Discovers Fiancee Is Tinder Love Rat, What He's Been Doing To Woman Overseas Is Sickening

Marriage is far more than just a contract between two people, it is a lifetime commitment to love, honesty, and happiness. Sadly, many people are more than happy to manipulate their partners into marriage to gain a share of inheritances or claim spousal visas and work privileges. In March 2017, A 23-year-old Texan woman named Stephanie Hoskins was tricked by an Australian ‘love rat’ named Brett Joseph, posing as a wealthy oil exploration worker and going under the pseudonym, Brett Goodman. Ms. Hoskins was planning to marry Mr. Joseph on 31 March 2017 when she became suspicious of his true intentions after he informed her that he would need to use a different name for the marital paperwork, his real name: Brett Joseph.

Luckily, Ms. Hoskins was apprehensive since her father had stage four cancer and she only been dating Mr. Joseph for two months before he asked her to marry him. Ms. Hoskins did some background research on her fiancée and found a shocking amount of new information about her husband to be. The Australian man had been implicated in a slew of fraud cases with dozens of women in Australia, with many of the cases involving ongoing police investigations. Despite buying a dress, inviting guests and setting up a page on a wedding site, Ms. Hoskins did not hesitate to call off the wedding, kick Mr. Joseph out of her apartment and contact the authorities.

It is believed that Mr. Joseph intended to use his planned marriage with Ms. Hoskins to secure a spousal visa and green card. Mr. Joseph has been described as charming, cunning and manipulative and Ms. Hoskins believes that he used her father’s illness as an excuse to get married quickly before he passed away, saying: “He made me believe we were looking for the same things in life… starting a family and building a life together in Texas”. Mr. Joseph has defended his actions and believes that his exploits have been inflated and distorted by the media and ‘jealous’ women.
