Was Kim Kardashian's Robbery Story A Hoax? Police Investigate

There have been a lot of questions about Kim Kardashian being bound and robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room. Many people have been scrutinizing the reality star queen's robbery incident, however, facts have been shortcoming. Answers are beginning to come out, but it's not enough to put suspicions that this was a publicity stunt to rest. Even one of the current Supreme Court justices questions whether it actually happened.

One big question that's been repeatedly asked is where Kardashian's faithful bodyguard might have been. Pascal Duvier appears in so many pictures with Kardashian that one might think he doesn't sleep. Kardashian herself has joked that he's 'always being in my shot' when she's photographed in public.

On the night of the robbery, Duvier reportedly wasn't with Kim Kardashian because he was out on the town protecting her sisters Kourtney and Kendall. “It wouldn’t be that strange for Pascal to be dispatched to be with Kourtney or the other family members once Kim was ‘safely’ in her residence,” an insider told PEOPLE. “And he regularly provides security for the whole family — not just Kim.”

Another key question revolves around how the robbers knew where Kardashian would be, that she would be alone, and how they got into the posh hotel. The insider reports that the concierge at the hotel was handcuffed and they demanded to know, “Where’s the rapper’s wife?”

Police believe they had been trailing Kardashian for days, either posing as police or paparazzi.

The case is so famous now that Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer mentioned it during oral arguments in a hearing on another matter. A thief was arguing his case that draining another person's bank account is not fraud because the bank insures the money.

"Even Kardashian's thief, if there is one, believes that all that jewelry is insured. So, it's not theft?" said the Justice.

Hopefully, for Kardashian, she won’t have to face a judge over this incident. At least not that judge.
