Video Of Hillary In The Middle Of A Rant Leaves Clinton Campaign Scrambling

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, her campaign team, the media and Clinton supporters have hit the Republican candidate hard with accusations of racism. Trump is lashing back with accusations that Clinton has also made racist comments in the past.

When Ms. Clinton's husband Bill Clinton was president in the 1990s, the first lady gave a speech discussing the crime bill that then-President Clinton signed into law. The bill was very controversial at the time, resulting in increased mass incarceration of minorities.

In a speech, Clinton defended the crime bill, referring to the minorities it affected as 'super-predators' and saying that the government has the responsibility to 'bring them to heel.' She went on to say such criminals have 'no conscience' and 'no empathy.'

In the Democratic debates, Clinton's opposition Bernie Sanders called Clinton's comments 'racist.'

Though Mr. Clinton has backpedaled on his crime bill, calling it a mistake, Mrs. Clinton at the time called it 'smart,' 'tough' and 'very well thought out.'

A new viral video compares Clinton and Trump clips and the similarities are striking. The very comments that Clinton and her supporters have pointed to as evidence of Trump being racist are things Clinton herself has said over the last 20 years.

"We do not need to do anything to encourage more illegal immigration into this country," said Clinton in 1993 when she argued against giving illegal aliens access to healthcare.

"We have to stop the in-flow of illegals coming into our country," echoed Trump during his 2016 campaign.

"The Mexican government's policies are pushing migration North," said Clinton in 2006, the same thing Trump has said repeatedly.

When Senator, Clinton said she 'voted to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in,' just as Trump now has been vocally supportive of building a wall to stop illegal immigration from Mexico.

“I am adamantly against illegal immigrants," Clinton said in 2003. Sound familiar?

Ironically, the fact that she’s too similar to Trump may be the best way for Trump and his supporters to take Clinton down.
