Toddler's Bravery Saves A Life

Little Lee McFarland was playing outside his house in Noblesville, Indiana while his mom was inside. He's only 2-years-old, but he noticed that his elderly neighbor went out for a walk.

As he watched her walk by, he also saw her trip and fall. He was the only witness, and she was too hurt to get up. So, he ran inside his home to tell his mom to call the police. It would be more common for the child to run away from the frightening sight.

His mother was very proud of what he had done to save their neighbor's life. Victoria Davis, Lee’s mom, said in an interview with a local news station, “It’s awesome, it’s awesome. Not every day do we hear of a two-year-old, or two-and-a-half year old who we can credit to saving a life. We don’t hear that every day on the news.”

Their neighbor was also able to recover in the comfort of her home that Saturday evening.
