Toddler Defies Odds By Living Full Life, Does The Impossible According To Doctors

Emma, from Lanarkshire, Scotland gave birth to her son in 2013. Just minutes after the 24-year-old gave birth, doctors told Emma that Aaron had a very rare health condition known as holoprosencephaly when they said deemed him "incompatible with life."

It means he was only born with a brain stem--enough to let him breath and move, but he does not have a full brain. Doctors expected him to pass away so, Emma was advised to invite her closest family members to meet him and say their goodbyes. Now, it is two years later and Aaron is alive and well.

He is also giggling and clapping his hands with his big brother Jack, aged 3. In addition, doctors are amazed that Aaron said "Mummy" for the first time a few weeks ago. Emma said, "Aaron proved he is a real fighter."

When Aaron was born, Emma didn't know she was pregnant until she was in labor. When Aaron was born and his condition discovered, Emma revealed she was heartbroken seeing him "hooked up to every machine."

In addition, she said it seemed that everyone was just waiting for something bad to happen. Aaron has also said "hello" more than once. His big brother Jack sings Twinkle Twinkle to him at night. Emma, who is separated from Aaron's father, said: "We don't know what the future holds but we know Aaron is a happy, contented boy. Every moment we have with him is precious.”
