Three Simple Ingredients Can Get Any Set-In Oil Stain Out

It’s your clothes worst nightmare. As soon as that drop hits you, you know there is no turning back. That garment is DONE. Oil...it’s your clothes worst nightmare.

But not anymore, according to Wimp.

You’ve all tried the store-bought stain removers only to have your hope crushed when that top comes out of the dryer with only a slightly lighter stain. However, Wimp’s got the perfect household hack to get rid of those super stubborn oil stains.

Here’s what you’ll need:

- Liquid Dish Soap
- WD-40
- Baking Soda
- A Toothbrush
- A Piece of Cardboard
- Q-Tips

Take the cardboard and place it in between the front and back of your garment so you don’t mess up the part that isn’t stained. Then you spray the stain with WD-40 and rub it in with a Q-Tip.

Then cover the entire stain with a scoop of baking soda to absorb all of the oil. Next, use the toothbrush to scrub your baking soda into the stain. Scrub until it starts to clump. Then you’ll pour some dish soap on top of the baking soda and get back to scrubbing. You may need a rag to wipe away the excess baking soda from your toothbrush.

Take out the cardboard and toss the garment into the wash with the rest of your laundry. It should come out as good as new! You can try it a few times if it doesn’t all come out at once.
