These Food Items Come From China And You Should Avoid Them At All Costs

It is a well-known fact that the Chinese government is not capable of adequately regulating its food manufacturing industry. Serious problems with food quality crop up on a regular basis in the Middle Kingdom, including a recent incident where fake rice made from a cheap plastic was being sold in China. Some sources suggest that food quality problems in Chinese products lead to tens of thousands of deaths a year in China and abroad.

According to a recent article in HealthWildandFree.com: “China is using their innovative methods to make cheap technology products, toys, and other consumer products and applying that mindset to food, which is absolutely dangerous.”

With this scary warning in mind, here is a brief list of some of the foods from China you should avoid:

Tilapia is number one on avoid if produced in China list. For starters, tilapia is not the best fish to eat because they are bottom feeder fishes who will eat almost anything. Keep in mind that tilapia are farmed fish, and they often live in small ponds filled with their own waste, so they end up consuming their own waste.

Experts note that the same basic problem applies to farmed codfish. Note that more than 80% of tilapia and 50% of cod consumed in the US are sourced from China.

Although the US is one of the largest apple producing countries in the world, more than 50% of apple juice sold in the US comes from China. Given the lack of regulations and enforcement, industry experts point out that apples from China may have two or three times the pesticide load of typical US apples.

Other foods from China that should be avoided in most cases include processed mushrooms, garlic, chicken and even rice.

That’s because all of these foods have been known to be over-processed, tainted, made from plastics, sprayed with dangerous chemicals or infected with various diseases.
