Texas Restaurant Chain is Proud of Being Politically Incorrect

One Texas chain restaurant is making sure their patrons knows exactly what they're getting into before they enter the establishment.

Berryhill Baja Grill CEO Jeff Anon, who is Jewish, said his last straw was the flap over the holiday-sanitized Starbucks' cup. Anon told ABC News "I just got tired of all the news of everybody having to be politically correct. There's nothing wrong with saying 'Merry Christmas' in lieu of 'Happy Holidays.' When people say 'Merry Christmas,' they're being nice. They're not trying to be politically incorrect or have religious beliefs."

To be sure their point is known, the chain posted signs outside its nine outlets in Texas. The signs read, "Notice: This store is politically incorrect. We say 'Merry Christmas,' 'God bless America.' We salute our flag and give thanks for our troops, police officers and firefighters. If this offends you, you are welcome to leave. In God we trust."

The restaurants were also decorated with holiday decor--including Hanukkah decorations.

Anon shared with ABC News, "The outpouring of support has been absolutely terrific. We're actually getting a lot of requests from people to get the sign. Some people say that you shouldn't take religion into the workplace. We're not trying to bring religion into the workplace. It has nothing to do with religion. It's the spirit of the holidays."
