Teen Girl Kidnapped By Man - He Made A Big Mistake

A quick-thinking teen was able to save herself from more serious harm after a poor choice led to her being in danger in the first place. According to the Daily Mail, the teen managed to free herself from her kidnapper by using his own weapon on him.

The unidentified 16-year-old teen was waiting at a bus stop in Edgewater when she accepted a ride from a stranger. Things seemed fine at first, but she quickly realized exactly how bad of a mistake she had made. As the vehicle approached her neighborhood, the driver would pull into an alleyway and whip out a knife.

The teen was quickly tied up and the male driver took off for the interstate. She was able to free one of her hands while they were driving along and noticed that her captor had left the knife on the floor of the vehicle. The teen seized the opportunity and grabbed hold of the knife, and proceeded to stab the kidnapper, who had no choice but to stop the vehicle.

She was able to take off out of the vehicle from that point and make her to a nearby residence to get some help, while the still unidentified man drove away.

“She kept her cool, which is tough to do in a situation like that. She had a plan and she carried that plan out. She basically saved herself from a much more serious incident,” said Edgewater Police Chief John Hough.
