Teen Admits That He Frequently Texts While Driving - She Tells Him How Her Parents Died

When you grow up with technology at your fingertips at all times, it’s hard to put it down. But when you’re behind the wheel there is no exception as texting and driving is the number one cause of death for teen drivers.

The following video aims to show teens the gravity and consequences of their decision to text and drive and how it can play out, according to Little Things. The teens are shown casually talking about their texting and driving habits, which are frankly quite terrifying. Then they meet Jacy Good.

She explains how her family was tragically ripped apart because of a someone who was texting and driving.

In the video, Jacy tells the teens how she was driving back home from her college graduation with her parents when a teen driver slammed into their car killing her parents. He was texting while driving. She suffered permanent injuries in the crash, but luckily survived.

She explained that when you text and drive, you're not only putting your life at risk but the lives of others. Jacy has not dedicated her life to speaking on the truths of texting and driving.
