Suspect Makes Chilling Confession - Huge Lead In Natalee Holloway’s Disappearance

For more than 10 years, Joran Van der Sloot has been the prime suspect in the murder of Natalee Holloway, a teen who disappeared while on a high school graduation trip to Aruba. While serving time for the 2010 murder of Stephany Flores, a Peruvian woman, Van der Sloot always denied involvement in Holloway's case. On a hidden video, however, he says otherwise.

Holloway and Van der Sloot met in a bar in May 2005, and they left the premises together. The 18-year-old girl was never seen alive again. Early in the investigation there were multiple suspects, arrests, releases and even re-arrests. As the investigation continued, suspicion just seemed to narrow like a beam of light on Van der Sloot.

An undercover reporter secretly filmed Van der Sloot in prison and caught a confession. The prisoner boasted that he lied to police and said it was 'one of the worst police investigations that ever took place'.

The reporter asked if he was talking about the Holloway case, and Van der Sloot answered in the affirmative.

“Yes, this is also where I am guilty and I accept everything that I have done.”

Van der Sloot made the confession in Dutch. The word for 'accept' and 'admit' are synonymous in that language.

The National Enquirer and Radar Online broke the story, releasing the film snippet. While few have doubted Van der Sloot's involvement in the murder, having that kind of confirmation might bring some peace to Natalee and her family.
