Special Needs Teen Murdered, Has Uterus Cut Out

In February, a teen was found brutally murdered in her family's Texas home. Someone had cut her throat and ripped out her uterus. Police found that the girl had recently made allegations of sexual abuse against her stepfather.

Holli Jeffcoat was 18 years old when she was killed, but she had a mental age of about 6 or 7. Shortly before her death it was revealed that her stepfather James Holland, 39, may have been abusing her since 2008.

After a car crash in 2008, a medical exam uncovered that Holli had a sexually transmitted disease, but her mother, Deborah Holland, dismissed it.

In January of 2016, Holli said something shocking to her special education teachers. "she didn't want to go home with dad because she didn't want to have sex. The sex hurt," says a report. Holli also told authorities that her mother knew about it, and told her not to tell anyone 'because Mom needed James to pay bills.'

Holli told the school that she was pregnant. Her mother attempted to cover up the abuse when Holli was taken for an examination, but days later she was found dead. Police believe the uterus was taken to cover up the pregnancy. The killer had also tried to start a fire to cover up the crime.

Jeff Holland has been arrested on three counts of sexual abuse, and Debi Holland has been arrested for covering up the abuse. No one has been charged with murder yet.
