Social Media Goes Crazy Over Michelle Obama’s Dress (Photos)

After Donald Trump won the presidential election, one designer put out a tweet vowing to never dress the new First Lady. In looking at some of her designs, Melania Trump, it looks like that designer might be doing Melania Trump a favor.

Sophie Theallet, the French designer based in New York City, posted an open letter after the election. The liberal who whole-heartedly believes in freedom and acceptance stated that she will never work with the wife of someone who might disagree with her politics.

In looking back at some of the things Theallet has made for Michelle Obama, it's hard to believe that former fashion model Mrs. Trump is really all that heartbroken. One bold red and blue sun dress had Mrs. Obama looking a little like a neon sign. At the Kennedy Center Honors, the first lady's shiny green leaf print made her look like she was wearing a spinach salad.

The announcement that Theallet made has gotten her quite a bit of publicity - more than the clothing she put on Michelle Obama has gotten her. However, Melania Trump is probably just breathing a sigh of relief.

One commenter accused Michelle Obama of letting a Vitamix make her dress.
