Snooze Button Saved His Life - Horrific Sound Coming From The Bathroom Could Have Been His Doom

We’ve all been there before. The alarm starts blaring, and we become consumed with the thought that 10 more minutes of sleep will make all the difference in the world. Whether that 10 minutes really makes a difference or not is open for debate, but we can count this man among those that are staunch advocates for hitting snooze. As the Independent Journal Review shares, that’s because his life was likely saved after he hit it one day.

Raymond Bowling typically hops out of bed when the alarm goes off, but he decided a few more minutes of shuteye were awfully appealing one day. That turned out to be a great decision. Just minutes after hitting snooze, a massive limb came crashing through his bathroom - which is right where he would have been.

"Laid back down and this happened just minutes afterwards. Good Lord was looking out for me for sure..." he shared on social media.

As you’ll see in the pic, Bowling was looking at some major injuries at a minimum, and there’s a good chance it would have turned out much worse. No word on why he hit snooze that day unlike the others, but it sounds like he’s taking it as a clear sign from up above.

"I had actually stood up to go to the bathroom to get ready for work but decided to let the snooze go off one more time and laid back down. I never do that. The limb came through literally minutes later before the snooze went off again. And that's exactly where I would have been standing," he explained.

Whether it’s a higher power looking out for him or just dumb luck is open for debate, but Bowling has provided each and everyone one of us with a clear tiebreaker when we’re wrestling with whether or not to hit snooze. When in doubt, remember the guy who nearly got wrecked by a tree limb, and there’s a good chance you’ll hit it at least once or twice.
