Shark Won't Release Woman's Arm

On Sunday, a 23-year-old woman was taken to a hospital in Boca Raton, Florida. A 2-foot-long nurse shark bit her arm and did not want to let go.

According to the Sun Sentinel, the shark was killed before rescue workers arrived, but they were unable to safely remove the shark from the woman's arm.

Ocean Rescue Capt. Clint Tracy told the Sun Sentinel, "I have never seen anything like it. Never even heard of anything like this."

In fact, the woman had to be taken to Boca Regional Hospital with the shark still hanging on her arm.

She is in stable condition.
