School Asks Dad Why His Son Is Absent - His Response Is Legendary (Photos)

Staff at the Stanwell School, in Penarth, South Wales have gotten to know Simon Morgan pretty well, as this jokester dad tends to have some pretty priceless responses when he’s contacted about issues involving his son. As the Mirror explains, this good-natured pops seems to have a quip at the ready at all times.

He recently received a text message from the school asking why his son was absent, and he promptly replied with a photo of his son James outside of a luxury hotel in Dubai.

"We only found out about the holiday the day before as it was through the travel agency that we run, so we genuinely didn't have time to plan,” he explained.

This reply was a bit on the tamer side, unlike this gem he dropped back in 2015 over another inquiry.

"Not sure what happened next but I've woken up in a hotel room with a six foot plastic flamingo in my bed and what looks like Mike Tyson's tiger in the corner of the room. I think we may be in Las Vegas? I've no idea where James is. Will check the roof," the text read.

The school seems to take Morgan’s humor in stride, and his son is said to be doing well with his studies.
