Restaurant Lauded For Helping Woman Pay Tribute To Fallen Soldier (PHOTOS)

A woman, described as a ‘military woman,’ stopped by the Buffalo Wild Wings in Tacoma, Washington for lunch and wanted to pay tribute to a fallen soldier. According to The Blaze, the restaurant has gone out of its way to make sure the tribute keeps flowing.

The woman came into the restaurant alone and attempted to order two beers. The server, Brian Avey, explained the restaurant’s adherence to the state’s policy of only one drink to an individual at a time. The woman proceeded to explain that the extra beer was for her brother, who had passed away while serving his country in Iraq.

The restaurant, of course, made the exception, and even picked up the tab for the brother’s beer. The woman ate her lunch with the extra beer across from her. Upon finishing, the woman would leave and express gratitude, but the restaurant wasn’t through yet, as Avey explained in a Facebook post.

“After she left, I didn’t have the heart to dump the beer out and throw it away, so I put it on top of the cooler next the American Flag. When I showed my boss his response was Amazing… He said ‘That’s Fine, just do me a favor, put a fresh Lime in it Every Morning,’” he wrote.
