Powerball Winner Who Recieved $188M Has Expenses Revealed

You’d have to imagine that it must be pretty difficult to come to terms with a big financial score in the form of winning a huge Powerball jackpot, and all winners and their loved ones undoubtedly express their joy in their own unique way. According to Star News Online, this Powerball winner’s boyfriend has taken to getting himself arrested as a way to come to terms with his glee.

Marie Holmes was the lucky winner of an $88 million lump sum payment as the result of her Powerball win. In addition to her newfound wealth, she’s found a new source to spend some of it on too. It seems that her boyfriend can’t stop getting himself locked up, and Marie has made some substantial investments to get her man home.

Lamar McDow has found himself in trouble with the law three times since Marie’s life-altering win, most recently for his role in a little friendly illegal street racing that would see vehicles topping out at 100 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. As he’s now well aware, that’s a pretty big no-no, and he’s been charged with conspiring to arrange a speed competition.

Since the time of the big win, McDow’s criminal resume has expanded to the point that Marie has posted $9 million in bail and bonds to buy his freedom – at least temporarily.
